I Am The Ruin is a UK-based AI music project created by songwriter Jason Cliffe. Cliffe writes the lyrics, while music and vocal performances are created using generative AI tools and shaped around a dark modern metalcore identity. The debut album Inheritance arrives 18 September 2026: eleven tracks about what life leaves inside us, what we carry forward, and what we decide should end with us.

Inheritance
Inheritance is built around learned anger, fear responses, grief that stays in the body, attachment, identity, the fear of healing and the decision to stop carrying forward what should end with you. The record asks one central question: what has life left inside us, and what do we choose to do with it?
